A great move down the left saw the tireless Cooper who 1st timed a shot that sizzled towards the goal. The Rutherglen keeper could only palm the shot were McBride again 1st to react to head home his second and Dunoons 3rd of the day.
With Dunoon now in total control of the game there was to be no way back for Rutherglen.
With some great work from Lehane & McBride the margin of victory should have been wider.
5 minutes from the end Dunoon finally killed off the game as a contest with Lehane dancing through 3 defenders to shoot at goal. Good save from the goalkeeper however MacIntyre followed up and closed out the game.
That makes it 2 wins out of two for Dunoon and a win or draw against Kings Park Rangers on Tuesday night will see Dunoon through to the quarter finals of the Centenary Cup.
What went well: - On a tight pitch and Dunoon worked hard to create space for the pacing game.
Good partnerships developing through the team.
